Eco-circles
SAFE sponsors six- to eight-week discussion groups focused on sustainable living. These eco-circles are just one hour a week, and give each of us a chance to slow down and think about how we can make positive changes in our lives that help to preserve the planet Earth.
Each eco-circle uses a reader with a set of short essays that can be read in less than an hour. These essays are the focus of each week's discussion. Started by the Northwest Earth Institute, eco-circles have become popular in workplaces, churches, and community organizations across the country. They provide a simple and enjoyable way to explore our values together and create a support network for making lifestyle changes.
